Marquette Ring
The Marquette Ring represents a departure from the bold size and forms of David's Deco Engagement Collection. This departure reflects a sensitivity and focus on detail that can be seen in a smaller yet more intense stone selection, setting positions and especially the period milgrain setting detail.
This piece is named for the breathtaking mosaic frieze located in the atrium of the Marquette Building. It was created by Louis Comfort Tiffany and his chief designer and art director, Jacob Adolph Holzer. The frieze contains 6 exquisitely detailed panels of lustered Tiffany glass, mother-of-pearl, and semi-precious stones.
This design has the added flexibility of being able to incorporate a range of stone sizes and therefore colours
